Flying solo!

Pat received a ski trip to Steamboat Springs from me for Christmas, so the kids and I are flying solo for a few days (he's skiing with his friend Lyman whose wife gave him the same trip). So far, so good. I do have a new appreciation for single parents...it's definitely more tiring. We have been hanging out with friends, so at least I can have some adult interaction and a chance to get out of the house.

On another note, Brennan turned 2 months old on Saturday. He is such a cutie and such a good baby...just like Kami was. He's smiling all the time, and I was able to get him to laugh yesterday (and this morning). It's awesome.

Kami keeps saying things that make me laugh. The other day she asked me to make her something to eat and I said okay. She proceeded to say to me "You'll get that for me? Oh goody!" She also saw a picture of a ski resort on the news, looked at me and said "Dada's skiing". She got a VTech Kid camera for Christmas and is having a great time running around yelling, "Say Cheese". I'll try to post some of her pictures.
