One big loop!

On Sunday, we decided to go for a drive to Estes Park and head up Trail Ridge Road since there is no road construction on weekends. Our plan was to drive to the Alpine Visitor Center on top, head over to Grand Lake to check it out and then turn around and head home. Right after we left the visitor center, I suggested driving a big loop instead of turning around, that way we could see different scenery. Our final drive ended up taking us to Grand Lake, Granby, Winter Park, Denver and home. It turned out to be a great day. We checked out Grand Lake Lodge, let the kids play at a park in Winter Park, ate dinner and headed home.
