Pumpkin patch and a winter wonderland!

We took the kids to the local pumpkin patch/farm last week to check out the animals and pick out pumpkins. Kami was more excited about the sheep and goats, so I picked out the pumpkins. We also picked some gourds, which Kami calls "gordon's". She took one to preschool to share with her teachers and friends. Brennan loves riding around in the stroller, but wasn't too excited about the animals. When the sheep and goats started to bray, Brennan started to cry! Maybe next time he'll be more interested!

Hey there goat!

We had our first snow of the year this past weekend. Kami and I were so excited, we bundled up and headed outside (the temp was a balmy 16 degrees). Last year was such a struggle to get her outside...she'd want to go out, we'd get all her stuff on, then she'd change her mind...every time! This time was much easier. She loved eating the snow, throwing snowballs and making snow angels. After awhile, we headed in for some hot chocolate! I want to take Brennan outside, but I haven't been able to find any boots that will fit (I have everything else). He's very tall, but has small feet. The smallest size I've found has been size 5...he's between a size 3 and 4. Poor guy might never get to go outside! I can't wait until it snows more so we can start using the sled!
