Things are going well. We took Kami for her first hike of the summer on Sunday. She only lasted about 20 minutes in the backpack, then wanted out to walk by herself. Needless to say, we didn't get a very long hike in this time. We are hoping to increase her time in the backpack so we can go on longer hikes. We definitely will need to pick "family friendly" hikes so she can walk on her own when the backpack loses it's appeal.
The house is coming along really fast. We walked through on Sunday, and they already had the hardwood flooring in. Pat ran over yesterday and the cabinets had been installed. We are getting very excited.
Kami is getting to be funnier and funnier. She has learned how to count, although she only counts from 8 to 13. I'm not really sure where numbers 1 through 7 went. Maybe we'll find them somewhere:) This morning, she woke up saying "Mama, where are you?" Now she runs around asking where everything is.
