So, I'm not sure what's up with uploading pictures, but this was the best I could do for this post. Anyway, this year we stayed home for Christmas and had a great time. I received my only Christmas wish...snow!!!! It was beautiful and it gave us a chance to go sledding with the Baete's on Christmas morning. Even though it was only 10 degrees out, everyone had a great time. The kids had fun opening their presents and were happy about everything. Kami even got a pair of high heels from Grandma. Her exact words after opening them..."Finally! I've always wanted high heels!" Who knew?
Before school was out, Brennan had a Christmas program with his preschool. Last year, he sat on the floor, looked around and never sang. This year he actually sang, although it was really quietly. In fact, all kids but one sang really quietly. We went to the store before his concert and he picked out a very nice shirt, vest and tie. His words after getting dressed..."Don't I look handsome?" He continued to wear the shirt, tie and vest for the next three days until I forced him to put them in the wash.
After Christmas, the kids went to my parents for a few days and then we met up in Steamboat Springs to ski. More on that in the next post! Hopefully, by then I will have figured out how to upload pictures the normal way!
