Birthday's and Halloween!

I can't believe Kami and Brennan turned 5 and 3 this year...how time flies! They had a great birthday party at a local park with all their friends (luckily the weather cooperated). Both sets of grandparents came for their birthday week to help celebrate. They were in seventh heaven and enjoyed every minute of it!

For Halloween, Brennan decided to be a cowboy (easiest costume ever since he had most of the stuff anyway) and Kami was a mermaid. We took the kids to The Farm to trick or treat, they had a Halloween party at school and they got to trick or treat at home. The costumes got a lot of use this year and they came home with a ton of candy (which I have since hidden and hand out every once in awhile). Growing up, I remember having to find a costume that would fit over your winter coat because it was always cold. Here, not so much. This year the weather was great! We couldn't have asked for a better start to the holiday season.
