Last weekend, we took the kids to
Bartels Farm just north of Fort Collins. It was a great day and the kids had a blast. They got to play with a rooster, pick pumpkins,
gourds and squash, climb hay bales, run through a hay maze (similar to a corn maze) and we even took a hay ride (complete with hay bales to sit on). We went out into the pumpkin patch to pick our
pumpkins, and we came back empty handed. Brennan found one, but then he found a hole and didn't want it, so we put it back. He ended up picking one from a bin! Pat kept suggesting different pumpkins for
Kami to pick out, but since "she" didn't actually pick them out, she didn't want them. She ended up picking this pear looking squash and they both picked out some
gourds!
