Toothless Wonder!

Let me go back about 2 months. We were in Winter Park skiing and Kami fell out of a chair and hit her mouth on the counter top. Her tooth looked fine, and she wasn't complaining about it, so I didn't take her to the dentist. At her regular appointment a few weeks ago, her dentist informed me that it had died, had an abscess and a big infection in the gums. Prognosis...it needed to be pulled. Boo! I hate things done with my mouth, so I was worried she would be freaked out. The day came last week and I explained what was going to happen and she was worried that it would bleed. Pat took her back and said she did great. She was able to have some "happy gas" to relax her and only whimpered when they stuck the needle in with novocain. What a trooper! I would have cried like a baby. She was able to to put her tooth under her pillow for the tooth fairy...and she got $2! Now all we have to do is wait until the permanent tooth grows in...which might be another 3 years or so. In any case, she looks pretty cute!
