Discovery and Nap Strike!

Discovery
Brennan is now 10 weeks old, and within the past week or so, he's discovered how to motorboat with his mouth. It's the cutest thing I've ever seen. He'll start to "talk", then he'll throw in a bunch of "motor boating" with a lot of smiling. What a happy little man! He's growing like a weed. My hopes of him being able to stay in his infant car seat for a year, like Kami did, has pretty much been squashed. I have a feeling he'll outgrow the height requirement within the next few months. My seat only goes to 29 inches and as of Dec 23rd, he was already 24 inches (I'm going to measure him again, unofficially of course). Kami didn't grow that fast, but I do believe it's because she spit up every time she ate (most times it was a lot) and Brennan doesn't spit up at all.

Nap Strike
Kami seems to be on a nap strike. I've been putting her down a little later, thinking she maybe she'll sleep, but I only get 45 min-1 hour out of her. The evenings are REALLY fun (note the sarcasm). Hopefully this will resolve itself. Otherwise, she'll get to spend some lonely time by herself in her room everyday. Nap time is not negotiable!

Keep on the nap thing. Every kid should have at least a half hour nap regardless of age...my opinion of course. I wish I could have a npa every day!

yeah it is funny how kids don't like naps and yet i wish i could have one. :) Aurora has been staying up later and later too. She only gets a 1hr or 1 1/2hr nap anymore. i miss those really long ones. :)
