Kami at the circus!

This past weekend we took Kami to see the Ringling Brothers and Barnum and Bailey Circus in Denver. I've never been to a circus, so I was probably more excited than Kami was. We all had a great time. Surprisingly, Kami watched almost the entire show (total time of 2 hours including a small intermission). Normally she lasts only about 45 minutes before she needs to get up to run around. Pat got up and walked around with her once. She even fell asleep at the end after the elephants came out (that was the part she was excited to see). I only took a few pictures, but it was a great experience.

On a different note, I had my 38 week appointment today. My midwife didn't check me, but I don't think I've progressed any. Maybe next week. I'm still measuring 37 weeks, but she thought maybe that was due to the baby starting to drop a little. She felt around and thought the baby would probably weigh around 8 lbs or so (which is what I was expecting). Hopefully this week will fly by, so I can see how I'm doing next week. We are off to pick out a bicycle for Kami for her birthday.
