4th of July and a hike!

Our neighborhood had a bike parade for the 4th of July ending in the park with watermelon for everyone. Kami had a great time riding her bike around, Brennan on the other hand chose to stay and play at the playground. A fire engine was there for the kids to tour, which was Brennan favorite. It doesn't take much to make him happy!

Our friends, the Beck and the Jones's came on a hike with us in Estes Park the week after the 4th. We loaded everyone up, and headed to Alberta Falls. It's one of the more popular hikes in the park, but still beautiful and very "small" kid friendly! All the kids did great and walked the entire way. The weather was ideal with cool temps (my favorite).
