A couple of weekends ago, we headed to Spring Canyon Park in Ft. Collins for the Kite Festival. The wind did not disappoint, but it was a beautiful day. Tons of kites were in the sky and there were activities for people of all ages...kite making, face painting,
frisbee throwing, food to eat and a ton of kite demonstrations. The kids had a great time, even though we were only able to stay for a little while.
The kids were able to tour an ambulance, which they LOVED! The gurneys were outside for the kids to play with as well.
Kami loved sitting in this seat.
Here is one of Brennan's favorite places to sit, although he prefers the drivers seat. Pat said he got to sit and "drive", but I didn't get a picture of that. I'm sure he could have stayed there all day.
Kami got her face painted (she loves to do that).
You can't really tell, but this is only a sample of all the kites that were flying that day.
If you look in the middle of the picture you can see a kite that looks like a pair of legs. I thought this one was the best one there.
