My little skier!

Last Sunday, my friend Michelle and I headed up to Arapahoe Basin to ski for the day. The high for the day up there was a balmy 10 degrees. I used to be a fair-weather skier (and still prefer to be), but I sucked it up and went anyway. We had a great day and I even skied my first double black diamond! I was so excited and proud of myself...who knew???

Kami came along and had her first lesson of the season. She did great! In fact, on the way back to the car she said "Mama, someday I'm going to be a good skier". She had so much fun and is asking when she can go back. I can't wait for the day when she can go on the chairlift and ski the bunny hill.
