Holy cow! I can't believe my little baby is 6 months old, and not so much of a "little" baby anymore. Along with his stats, I will give you my brother's (if you don't remember, he's 6'6" tall now). I think I may have a son over 6 feet tall...who knows?
Brennan:
Weight: 18 lbs 2.5 oz
Height: 27 1/4 inches
Ryan (my brother):
Weight: almost 15 lbs
Height: 27 3/4 inches
He is getting so grown up. He's now able to sit up on his own for longer periods of time and really wants to go somewhere, aka crawling. Once he's able to figure that out, I'd better keep my running shoes on. Kami loves her little brother, but I have a feeling that might change once he's mobile and able to get into her toys.
Kami is really loving preschool and gets excited to go everyday. She's doing great at the potty training, but I still can't get her to poop on the potty. Some of the kids I know did it right away, others took longer. She hides when she had to "go", so if I can catch her and put her on the potty, maybe that will help show her how much nicer it is not to go in her underwear. She's done it once before, so I know she can do it.
Now that the weather is starting to get warmer, we are spending more time outside. Kami loves to dig in the backyard and she loves to run around trying to catch butterflies with her net! She's getting really good at pedaling her bike, and she's not too shabby at the steering (but that needs a little more work).
I am getting ready to run my first half marathon on Sunday. I'm excited to see how well I can do, and have decided to pick a goal time of 2 hours and 10 minutes (although I'd really like to run it in 2 hours or less). It'll depend mostly on how I feel that morning. Pat and I drove the route the other day, and it really is a pretty run! We even saw a mama fox and baby! Hopefully being out early in the morning, I'll get to see some wildlife (if the runners before me haven't scared them off). I am proud to announce, though, that I have lost over 50 lbs in the 6 months since Brennan was born. I guess all my hard work has paid off!

Hi!
Your dad is a beast too remember. Brennan is growing quickly and hopefully he keeps growing and it doesn't taper off. So glad to hear that both kids are doing well and enjoying their activities and learning new things.
Good luck this Saturday. Have fun, and just do your best! I know you will! You have worked and trained hard for this...you will do great!
Blessings,
Debbie
