We also saw a ton of elk and some big horn sheep. For those that don't know, Estes Park has it's own resident herd. They roam around town and take naps in various front yards. On my way to church, I met one walking down the middle of the road in downtown. It looked at me as if to say, "What's up?" and kept on going. What a great place to be!!!
I started feeding Brennan rice cereal a little while ago. He loves it, and tends to cry when you don't feed him fast enough. Originally, I had bought the Gerber brand (which is what Kami used), but it ended up making him a bit stopped up. For those that care, he usually poops multiple times a day. With the cereal, he pooped only twice in a week. I switched brands to the Earth's Best Organic Rice Cereal, which coincidentally has three ingredients compared to a whole paragraph with Gerber (most of which I don't recognize). Much better...he's pooped once a day for the past 3 days. Yeah!!!!!! I weighed him this morning at home...what a piggy! He now weighs 16 1/2 pounds (1 pound more since his 4 month appointment on Feb 27th). Depending on the brand of clothing, he is wearing 6 months or 6-9 months. He's also really close to outgrowing his infant car seat (Kami was in it for almost a year). I have the next seat, but it will make running errands slightly more difficult once I have to take him out of the seat! Oh well, such is life and we'll deal with it when it comes.
