Adventures with the Coen's

We had a great weekend. On Saturday, we took Kami to the Children's museum in Denver (I forgot to grab the camera). It wasn't quite what I was expecting, and I didn't realize there was a seperate section for the little kids. Kami spent the morning in the big kid area, which was too old for her, but she had fun anyway. We didn't get a chance to see the little kid area because we were too tired and hungry by then. Maybe next time. On Sunday, we took Brennan on his first "hike". It wasn't anything strenuous, just a mile roundtrip walk on a path to view all kinds of birds. We were fortunate enough to see two golden eagles and two bald eagles, plus a ton of geese and ducks. Kami had a great time looking through Pat's mini binoculars and "hiking" on her own. Brennan slept the whole time in the Baby Bjorn. It was a beautiful day and it was great to get out. Brennan also got to take his first "big boy bath" (the previous pictures were just a sponge bath since his "tummy button" hadn't fallen off yet). He definitely likes to have his hair washed, and didn't mind the bath this time.

Future bird watcher?
This bath stuff isn't so bad after all.

I love my big sister and can't wait to play with her. (This is one of the very few times Kami will be next to her brother long enough for me to take a picture.)

I see you, Mama and Dada!

This is fun.
