We are back from Estes Park, and we had a great time. The weather was in the 80's, which was nice (it was in the mid 90's in Ft. Collins). Everyone went on a couple of hikes, shopping and sightseeing. We even took Kami to a giant slide, which she loved. Pat took her on it 3 times. At the bottom of the slide, she'd turn to Pat and say "Mo swide" (translated into "more slide"). I am also here to say that the world we live in is Kami's and we are just living in it. She's really into saying "Mine". Sometimes it's funny. We were in the visitor center, and a family walked in and was standing on a floor mat. Kami ran over, said "No, mine" and pushed a little boy off the mat. I think I may have my hands full:) The rental house we stayed in was awesome. It was a log home with log furniture and a great view of the mountains...very peaceful. I love Estes Park and was excited to spend a week there.
We came home on Friday and closed on our house. YEAH...we are home owners once again. I can't wait to get moved in and settled. Pat rented a trailer, so hopefully we can get everything in today or tomorrow (or at least the big stuff). I don't even care if there are boxes everywhere, I just want to be able to live in it. It may be a few days before I'm back on line again. I'll post again sometime this week, with pictures, so everyone can see our house somewhat decorated.
