I am finally home after traveling for a week, so I thought I'd get another entry in the books. We travelled to Iowa over the 4th to visit family, celebrate Dora's (Pat's grandma) 85th birthday and meet our new niece. Shaylee Danielle Coen was born on June 26th and she is just perfect. She is so snugly...I miss that part. My kids are only snugly when they are tired, and even then not so much. My kids had a great time hanging out with their cousins, and for the most part, everyone got along really well. I only remember one or two "disagreements" among the younger ones. The weather was great everyday except the 4th. My sister-in-law and I went for a run that morning and then it started to rain. Both the parade and the fireworks were cancelled, so it seemed like a regular day. Luckily, Dora's birthday celebration was able to move indoors. We got to see all of Pat's extended family, which was nice! All in all, it was a great trip!

After we returned from Iowa, I had one day to unpack and pack again before leaving for Montana to visit my brother, sister-in-law and my new nephew. Augustus (Gus) Henry Crawford was born on June 25th and is adorable. He is my brother's first, and my first "real" nephew. He, too, is super snugly...and a big eater. It's not uncommon for him to put down 4-5 ounces of milk at one time, then need to eat another 2-3 hours later. My time in Montana was really relaxing. The kids went to my parents, so I was on my own. I got to spend some time with Katie (my sister-in-law), which I've never really done, and with Gus! It was nice to have the chance to get to know her better and I can't wait until we can see each other again!
