Camping and baseball!

We haven't been doing too much lately, partly due to the weather and partly because we are going to have a full summer! Camping has been something we've been wanting to try with the kids, so Pat set up the tent in the basement so Kami could get used to the idea. She was really excited...for about an hour! Then she headed upstairs to sleep in her own bed. That makes me wonder what she'd do if we were actually camping and there was no bed to return to. To try it this year or not, that is the question. On a good note, the kids really like playing in it!

We finally had some good weather this weekend, so we headed to Denver for the Rockies game with our friends Lyman and Kaden. Kami's preschool is sponsoring the little playground at Coor's Field, so we got a good deal on 4 tickets, 4 hot dogs and 4 drinks. The only downer...there were only about 5 rows above us! The stadium has a row of purple seats that sit at exactly a mile high...we were two rows below. On the up side, I'm glad we didn't sit where we usually do as that would have been a waste of money. The kids were "good" until the end of the 4th inning, at which point we headed down to the playground. They played for a little while and we left during the 7th inning. We had a great afternoon, but I don't think we'll be taking the kids back to a game for another couple of years.
