I am a soccer mom!

Yesterday was Kami's first soccer lesson! Since we live across the street from the high school, she comments on the soccer team practicing every time she sees them...so I thought I'd let her try it out. Turns out, she really loves it! Her exact words to me when they were done, "I want to do that again". For her first time, she was surprisingly pretty good...and quite coordinated. Maybe she'll be the next Mia Hamm. She followed directions very well and was a super good listener (too bad that doesn't translate into being a good listener at home). Some of the other kids were not paying attention, and when we got home she said, "Those boys were not being good listeners, they were being naughty". I had to laugh. I've included the pictures that weren't too blurry...it's hard to get a good picture when your child won't stand still:) The one of Brennan is when he decided he wanted to wear Kami's cowboy hat, which he loves. Funny, he won't keep any other hats on but that one.
Yee haw, cowboy! (No, our walls are not that yellow).
Learning how to squash the ball.
Kicking it between your feet like a penguin.
Getting ready to play Red Light, Green Light.
Almost done!
