Hello all!
It's been awhile, so I thought I'd make myself sit down and write a little bit. Before we moved in, I was really excited about decorating the house (I considered it to be my nesting period). As I moved into the third trimester, my excitement decreased. I found myself still wanting to put decorations up on the wall, but I wanted the so-called decorations to hang themselves. I am definitely more tired than I was with the previous pregnancy (could it be I have a toddler to chase after?). By the time late afternoon/early evening hits, I'm completely exhausted. I guess it's just my body's way of preparing me taking care of two kids. I take it all in stride, though, knowing it'll only be "hard" for a small period of time. Don't get me wrong, I don't think that parenthood is easy at any stage. I am just optimistic that it's gets a little easier as your children become more self sufficient. Maybe that thought will back fire at some point, but I continue to look at my glass as half full.
The house is slowly getting done. I did take some pictures of the rooms that are mostly finished (too bad they are two of the bathrooms and the living room). There are still lots of things to be hung up, so maybe I can beg Pat to hang a couple of things every night when he gets home from work.Kami is getting crazier as the days go on. I do believe she is now in her "Terrible Two's". She loves to scream when she doesn't get her way, and loves to say "My turn!" all the time. Seeing as my glass is half full, I am hoping she is going through this early and will stop sooner than later. It'll be interesting to see how she does when the baby gets here. The weather is a little cooler this week, so I've been able to take Kami outside to play. We went to the park yesterday and went for a wagon ride. She loves to be outside, so I can't wait for the weather to cool off and to get our yard done so she can play outside whenever she wants and I don't have to chase her.
Pregnancy is going well, despite being tired again and the occasional upset stomach. We have our 3-D ultrasound on Monday, and I can't wait. If I can figure out how to do it, I'll try to post pictures of Kami's and the new baby to compare. I am so curious to see how different, or alike, they'll be.
